ANIMAL HUSBANDRY AND AGRICULTURE AWARENESS PROGRAMME:

This programme is very successful for the farmers as they have learnt many new techniques regarding the farming from the scientists and agriculture experts. This teas the organization visited 7 blocks of Aligarh district, 04 blocks of Hathras district, 04 blocks of Etah district and 07 blocks of Bulandshahar district for identification the need of training programmes in back ward villages so that the villagers may be benefitted by innovative techniques in the field of farming.

REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH AND HIV AWARENESS RROGRAMME:

The main focus of this programme is reproductive health of female which is much needed necessity of our country. Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) provides the health care services to disadvantaged communities in 04 blocks of Aligarh district, 04 blocks of Hathras district, 03 blocks of Etah district and 04 blocks of Bulandshahar district. The programme consist visit by our staff in the villages of these blocks. The focus during the year was on reproductive child health and HIV awareness to the masses introducing family planning, increasing the number of institutional deliveries, immunization of newborns and cleanliness in all sphere of their life. There has been a remarkable improvement in all the areas where the training and awareness programmes by Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) had been organized. These programmes have a significant impact. Awareness on issues of immunization, breast feading, malnutrition, HIV/AIDS, old age related problems and cleanliness were held throughout the year. Other issues life early age marriage, menstrual hygiene, mutual respect in marriages and girl child education were also included in all the progrmmes conducted by Sh. FAMILY ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROGRAMME:

Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) Legal Care Center through its Family Alternative Dispute Resolution Programme has settled so many matters with amicable solution. The advocates of Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) have settled 50 matters related to family and dowry disputes during this year by mutual consent. The main object of this programme is to save the marriage of the concerned persons because marital right is a human right and we have to protect this right for the well being of the whole society. By doing this Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) is saving the life so many persons who were engaged in destroying their life without any appropriate reason. This programme of Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) NGO is being very popular in the masses and more people are approaching for resulation their disputes.

PLANTATION & SWACHHA BHARAT MISSION :

Plantation has become vital to rescue planet earth from pollution and balancing temperature. Every year, with the help of Horticulture department, we promote plantation activities in our project areas. During this year we have planted more than 1,200 saplings of different varieties in school premises, panchayat ,premise and community lands in Pahasu and Dibai Block of Bulandshahr District. Apart from the community level plantation activities, we have provided fruit bearing and vegetables seeds and saplings to the beneficiaries in our project villages under Pahasu Block to grow in their backyard with an aim to promote plantation activities and enhance nutritional intake.

In partnership with John Aromas., we are in a process of social marketing of low cost models of different sanitary mats and also making contextual integration of these mats into different on-going sanitation programmes run by development agencies and Govt. including Swachha Bharat Mission.

WOMEN AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) strongly believe that women and children are real strength of our country. Without their empowerment the country cannot progress as they are more than half population of the country. The basis of the well being of society as a whole is gender equity. Ensuring a women’s rightful place in her home and society has a far reaching goal in our country. Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) has placed woman in equal position with man in all its working and programmes. With each new group a few more women find their voice and identity as they move towards self reliance and employment. The Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) team motivates the women of these Self Help Groups for adopting self employment as per their strength and ability. Some of them have achieved the goal of empowerment and improved their economic and social status.

ELEMENTARY EDUCATION AND LITERACY PROGRAMME:

The motto of Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) is to increase the literacy rate among the persons and children of the country. For this purpose the team Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) has selected four districts i.e. Aligarh, Hathras, Bulandshahar and Udham Singh Nagar. 35 camps of education awareness programmes had been organized in total by Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) NGO during this year. The organization had followed the non-formal education, alternative method of education and innovative method of education for the illiterate children and persons of these areas. In order to better equip the children of rural and urban areas to face the various challenges of today’s world, life skills workshops were conducted. The topics covered, the benefit of education, effect of tobacco and smoking, hygiene and sanitation system of their areas, difference between good and bad, how to protect against sexual abuse etc. in these camps Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) spreaded the awareness about education so easily that the people have approached for formal education in different schools nearby their locations of living. The poor and other marginalized groups of the society are getting involved in educational activities who are illiterate. During next year Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) NGO has planned to increase the number of awareness camps in all these 04 districts.

VOCATIONAL TRAINING

Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) works towards promoting a self-reliant society and to fulfill the interest, we are providing vocational training to rural youths on different viable and need based trades, which will ultimately help them to stand on their own, providing sustainable livelihoods and income upgradation to their respective families after completion of the training. In this direction, we have imparted mason, carpentry, computer hardware and mobile repairing training to 550 rural youths (in each category) in Pahasu and Dibai block project area of Bulandshahr district.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT ETRAINING TO WSHGS:

Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) imparting the vocational and skill development training in the area of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Beauty Culture & Hair Dressing, Garment Making, Electronics, Construction, Toys Making, Banking & Accounting and Food Preservation. The organization is imparting trainings in 04 districts of Uttar Pradesh. Aligarh, Hathras, Etah, Bulandshahar, and Udham Singh Nagar in Uttarakhand. 7 training centers has been established by the organization in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand for imparting the Vocational and Skill Development training in different trades. 950 trainees of different trades have been completed training in respective trades as per their choice of these centers. This includes the candidates from SC/ST, Minorities, Backward Communities, women, poor and below poverty line (BPL) categories.

YOGA AND NATURE CURE PROGRAMME:

Yoga is a set of techniques useful for achieving fitness in daily life and prevention and cure of some specific diseases or disorders. Naturopathy can be termed as the science of holistic health, creating a balance with the nature and a positive living. Naturopathy believes in the holistic approach of health, which can be achieved by following the laws of nature, rules of good conduct and developing a philosophical attitude and practicing meditation and yoga. Naturopathy believes that unless there is harmony between body, mind and spirit, one cannot enjoy healthy life. Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) through Dr. Pawan Sharma Drishti Physiotherapy and Nature Cure Clinic, Dibai is engaged in making the people aware with yoga and naturopathy. The main aim of this Yoga and Nature Cure Programme is space of mind and a more positive outlook to life of the people of our society. At this centre the people have taken many benefits from yoga and naturopathy specialists, as this brings down stress and enhance power of relaxation, boosts physical strength, stamina and flexibility, helps in rehabilitation of old and new injuries, boosts functioning of immune system, enhances posture and muscle tone, improves blood circulation and infuses a sense of balance and internal harmony.

WATER CONSERVATION AND SANITATION PROGRAMME:

Water is the necessity of the people. The conservation of the water is prime need of today. The water of our ground has been polluted by us. Clean drinking water is not available for the persons in many areas. We make aware the people about the harms of not using the lean drinking water, in our country 40% illness is due to water. Our aim is to make available clean drinking water to whole society. The problem of hygiene and sanitation is very big in our country. Every place in our country is dirty due to our habit of doing the wrong things for this cleanliness in the country. We make aware the people for cleaning their areas in the group activities. We organize the camps for the awareness about the sanitation in different areas of the cities. Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) organized 36 Water Conservation and Sanitation Awareness Programmes in Aligarh, Hathras, Bulandshahar and Udham Singh Nagar districts.

REHABILATION PROGRAMME FOR PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY CHALLENGED:

Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) NGO is engaged in the programmes that change common perception and attitude of differently abled persons. It provides professional care and a range of specific services to the beneficiaries. It provides effective and emotional development through its organization Drishti Rehabilitation Centre at Greater Noida, Gautam Budh Nagar. This centre is engaged in the treatment of physically and mentally challenged persons at very nominal cost. The services at this centre are free for the poor. This centre helps and cures such disabled persons by providing quality treatment and emotional care to them so that they may back in the normal live which is their human right. LEGAL AID AND HUMAN RIGHTS AWARENESS PROGRAMME:

In this programme the rights of poor and other marginalized groups are protected. Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) NGO cares about the legal rights of these groups. This programme is very much concerned for the protection of human right of such marginalized people free of cost. Our Advocates fight for these communities if their rights are violated by the society or government authorities.

These marginalized people feel that someone is caring and fighting for their rights. The organization has conducted 19 Human Rights Awareness Camps in Aligarh, Hathras, Etah, Bulandshahar and Udham Singh Nagar districts.

ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS PROGRAMME:

In this programme the aim of Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) NGO is to make aware the society about the environment protection. The people are made aware about the harms of the degradation of the environment. We make aware them for not polluting the environment. We explain the people for not using the polythiene in their day to day use. Our slogan is Green India, Clean India. Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) organized 17 Environmental Awareness Programme in Aligarh and Udham Singh Naga district.

RURAL AND URBAN AWAS AWARENESS PROGRAMME

The Government of India and Uttar Pradesh Government has launched programmes for providing houses to the Rural and Urban People of the country. The people of Rural areas and slum areas of the city don’t get the right information about these amenities and facilities provided by the Government. Sh. Bhagat Singh Institute of IT & Management (SBSIITM) has organized 50 awareness camps for educating the people of Rural and Urban areas of Aligarh, Hathras, Etah, Bulandshahar and Udham Singh Nagar districts.

ROAD SAFETY & AWARENESS PROGRAMME

The road safety programme is initiated at 03 km stretch of Chhatari to Dhourau highway of Aligarh Anupshahr Road location. It focuses on two aspects – installation of road safety signboards for road users and engaging with school students for

awareness generation. The main aim of this initiative is to sensitise the road users and school students regarding road safety and traffic rules. This will help in reducing road accidents.

PROMOTION OF MICRO ENTERPRISES:

Unemployment and poverty pose major challenges to the growth and prosperity of our country. In order to mitigate the problem of rural unemployment, some new avenues for employment generation need to be found within the rural areas. It is also

felt that generation of additional and adequate employment in rural areas will reduce poverty. Micro finance and micro enterprise activities are positive directions in providing sustainable livelihoods and income upgradation. The groups in Bulandshahr and Aliagrh district were provided training on appliqué work and coir handicraft items and now they are engaged in these activities, earning substantially to support their families.

EDUCATION TRAINING TO THE ADOLESCENTS (ARSH):

Life skills have been defined by the World Health Organization (WHO) as "abilities for adaptive and positive behavior that enable individuals to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life". They represent the psycho-social skills that determine valued behavior and include reflective skills such as problem-solving and critical thinking, to personal skills such as self-awareness, and to interpersonal skills. Practicing life skills leads to qualities such as self-esteem, sociability and tolerance, to action competencies to take action and generate change, and to capabilities to have the freedom to decide what to do and who to be. Adolescent Reproductive & Sexual Health (ARSH) is one of the components of life skill education and capacity building of adolescents on the issue is of greater significance in the present day context in order to aware them to live a healthy life in future. Taking this into consideration, we have organised a 3 days training programme for such target group and imparted training on management of adolescent health,

Hygiene, sexual orientation, behavior, menstrual health, reproductive health etc. Total 35 High School students from 05 High Schools under Pahasu Block participated in the training programme. CONSUMER WELFARE AND PROTECTION ACTIVITIES:

A Workshop –cum -Awareness Programme for rural change agents like students, school teachers, WSHG members, Anganwadi Workers, PRI members etc. was

organized on 15th March 2024, on the occasion of World Consumer Rights Day at Radha Krishna Public School, Dibai Bulandshahr Uttar Pradesh. The workshop was meant to raise the level of awareness of the CBOs like youth club members, WSHG members, grassroots organizations, PRI members, School teachers, Anganwadi Workers, school and college students, etc. on different rights of a consumer which will ultimately motivate them to spread awareness in their region on consumer rights. The workshop was attended by 60 participants from 4 GPs in the periphery of Dibai.
